Lidl’s new store will cover a space of 14,230 sq. ft. and will stock all the fantastic ranges of fresh, British produce the brand is synonymous with. Known for its excellent service, quality of products and value for money, this will be a very strong addition to the centre’s retail offering.
The new Primark store, which will move into the former BHS unit, will showcase fashion over 43,000 sq. ft. of retail space and will feature the latest trends in women’s, men’s and children’s fashions including footwear, accessories as well as lingerie, beauty and homeware. The store’s design and layout will build on Primark’s latest contemporary shop fit.
Work will commence on the former BHS unit over the coming months. The current Primark store will continue to trade as usual during the refit period. Centre Manager, Pieter Strombeck, said he was looking forward to the work getting underway.
“This is a very exciting period for us. Primark has been a key part of our fashion offering here at St Anns for a number of years, and we’re thrilled that the company has chosen to increase its presence at the centre,” said Pieter.
“We are also thrilled to be welcoming such a popular supermarket as Lidl. Its commitment to delivering top quality, locally-sourced produce at a reasonable price is something our customers will really support and appreciate.”
