MAN DIES IN SOUTH HARROW FOLLOWING ALLEGED ATTACK

A man has died on Northolt Road in South Harrow today. The incident happened near Ladbrokes betting shop this afternoon in broad daylight with witnesses saying a “machete” was allegedly used.

A MET Police spokesmen has said –

“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 3.20pm to reports of an injured man on Northolt Road in Harrow.

“Officers attended. The man, who is believed to be aged in his mid-40s, was treated at the scene for a stab wound. He was pronounced dead at 3.50pm.

“One person was arrested nearby on suspicion of murder. He was taken to a north London police station where he remains in custody. Officers remain in the area.”

We spoke with Cake Box employee who said “10-15” police cars and “2 helicopters” were on the scene and that “that parade of shops are closed including Santander bank”.

 

UPDATE: Police have made clear that the mans cause of death is ‘unexplained’ pending post mortem results and that they had not launched a murder investigation at this time (04/04/2019 – 09:10am)
