BUS DRIVER SPRAYED IN THE FACE WITH ‘UNKNOWN SUBSTANCE’ BY TEENAGE GIRL IN HARROW

A bus driver was assaulted last night (23 May) following a verbal confrontation on Station Road, Harrow with a group of teenage girls. One of the teenagers sprayed the victim (the bus driver) with an ‘unknown substance’ leaving him with skin injuries and bloodshot eyes.

 

Emergency services were on hand and we have been sent video footage of the scene that we will upload shortly to our Facebook page. We contacted the police to provide further information and they replied with the following –

 

“Police were called at 21:02hrs on Thursday, 23 May to reports of an assault on a bus in Station Road, Harrow. The victim, the bus driver, had a verbal altercation with a group of teenage girls. One of the girls then sprayed the victim in the face with an unknown substance. Officers, the London Ambulance Service and the London Fire Brigade attended. The victim was left with bloodshot eyes and redden skin. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.”
