32 YEAR OLD MAN ARRESTED ON SUSPICION OF MURDER FOLLOWING PRESTON ROAD DEATH

Police are investigating the death of a 53-year-old man following an altercation in a pub on Preston Road.

Police were called by London Ambulance Service to the pub itself which is located near the junction with Uxendon Crescent at approximately 11:00pm on Thursday night, May 30 it has been revealed.

Paramedics attended after the man was injured during an altercation that took place inside the pub. He was then pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance staff that attended. His next of kin have now been informed and post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.

 

Update (19:30 01 June): A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and taken to a north-west London police station, police have revealed. He is currently bailed to return on a date in late June (date TBC). Police have also stated that no weapons were reported to have been seen during the incident.
