16 YEAR OLD FROM HARROW CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER IN WEMBLEY

This morning (July 11) police have confirmed that a 16 year old teenager is in custody and has been charged with attempted murder. The boy is from Harrow.

The boy is due in court following the stabbing in Wembley that took place in the Preston Park area on Tuesday (July 9).

The 16-year-old cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested for attempted murder following the stabbing.

Police arrived at the scene at approximately 2.35pm on July 9 and found the victim collapsed in the park. The victim was rushed to hospital and remains critical.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “A teenager has been charged following a stabbing in the Preston Park area of Brent”

“The 16-year-old boy from Harrow was charged on Wednesday, July 10 with attempted murder.

“He will appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, July 11.”
