A person was struck by a train at Wembley Park earlier today (12 July).
A spokesperson from British Transport Police said the force were at the scene along with paramedics. An air ambulance was also spotted on site.
The incident was widely reported on social media and it resulted in the the station being temporarily closed off.
At 5.30pm London Ambulance Service paramedic said: “We were called at 3:51pm today (12 July) to reports of an incident at Wembley Park Underground Station, Wembley”
“We sent a number of resources to the scene including an incident response officer and an ambulance crew. We also dispatched our hazardous area response team (HART) and London’s Air Ambulance”.
