MAN FROM EDGWARE CHARGED WITH WEMBLEY MURDER

Police Detectives investigating the murder of 26-year-old Kwasi Mensah-Ababio in Monks Park  have charged a man from Edgware with murder.

Rene Moataque, 24, of Edgware was charged with murder in the early hours of today (Friday, 2 August) police have revealed. He has now been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court today. Police were called to Monks Park, Wembley at 7.05pm on Sunday (7 July) by London Ambulance Service (LAS) following reports of a man found unresponsive at he time.  Officers and LAS attended and found Kwasi with serious head injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alhassan Jalloh, 20, and 22-year-old Karlos Gracia, who are both from Stonebridge Park, were charged with the murder along with Taalib Rowe, 24 , of Luton, was arrested on Tuesday, 16 July and charged with murder on the evening of Wednesday, 17 July. Montague from Edgware is now the fourth person charged with murder in connection with this case.
