Caffè Nero in Pinner was burgled yesterday (8 August) as windows were smashed and cash stolen police have revealed.
Police have confirmed that they are currently investigating the burglary that took place in the early hours of yesterday morning. It follows an armed robbery of Santander bank that happened just several months ago in June. The two locations are just around the corner from each other in Pinner.
The suspects fled the scene prior to the police arriving on site, no arrests have been made at this time. One twitter user posted about the burglary: ‘Santander broken into a few weeks ago, now cafe Nero. It’s not coincidence but rather a regular occurrence. #pinner @harrowonline Do something @BorisJohnson @SadiqKhan’
A metropolitan police spokesperson had the following to say about the incident: “Police were called on Thursday, 8 August at 02:00hrs to a report of a burglary at a commercial address in Love Lane, 3EE. Officers attended and found a window smashed and a quantity of cash taken. The suspects had fled prior to police arrival. No arrests.
Enquiries are being made, along with any CCTV that exists to assist with the investigation.Officers from North West Command Unit are investigating.”
