Thieves attempted to break into the Pinn Medical Centre on Love Lane, Pinner last night (10 August).
This is the third instance of commercial premises being targeted in the last five days in Hatch End and Pinner. It follows a burglary at Caffè Nero located on the same road just yards away from the Pinn Medical Centre, and Hatch End Swimming Pool on Friday night.
One concerned resident posted: “So upsetting to go to Pinn Medical Centre this morning to see another attempted break-in. Pharmacy has been broken into twice in recent months hence why the pharmacy door is boarded. But now the surgery too. What is happening in Pinner?”
The centre itself has been in the news recently after an online petition was set up which has had more than 6,000 signatures. The petition stated that residents in Harrow should continue to have access to the medical centre all year round.
Met Police commented on the attempted break in last night: “attempted burglary some time overnight. A glass window pane was cracked but no entry gained and nothing stolen.”
