Three men have been arrested on Stanmore Broadway today on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
The men failed to stop for the police and crashed into other cars trying to get away from the scene.
A metropolitan police spokesperson said: “Shortly after 1513hrs on Monday, 23 September officers in an unmarked police car signalled for a vehicle to pull over.”
“The vehicle failed to stop for police and attempted to leave the area. It damaged several civilian vehicles and a police car in the brief period it attempted to make off in traffic.”
“Three males were subsequently arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs. The driver was further arrested on suspicion of driving whilst disqualified.”
“All have been taken to a north London police station for questioning. One man from a vehicle struck by the bandit car suffered minor injuries. There are no other reported injuries.”
A London Ambulance Spokesperson said:
“We were called at 3:43pm today (23 September) to Church Road, Stanmore to reports of a road traffic collision.
“We dispatched an ambulance crew to the scene but did not take any patients to hospital and our crew was stood down.”
