Police appeal after Watford armed robbery

Police have appealed to the public after shop worker in Watford was threatened with a knife during an armed robbery on Thursday December 5.

Three men entered the ‘One Stop’ store in North Approach on the Kingswood Estate in Watford,  they approached the till and proceeded to threaten one staff member with a knife.

They filled a bag with cash and fled the scene swiftly. Detectives investigating have released three CCTV images of three men they would like to identify.

Detective Sergeant Chris Parperi, from the Watford local crime unit, said: “Thankfully the member of staff was not injured during this incident but they were left shaken by what happened, which is understandable. I would like to reassure them and the wider community that we are doing all we can to trace those responsible.

“I would like the public to take a good look at the images we have released as although we cannot see their faces, those pictured are wearing distinctive clothing.

“If you recognise any person pictured then please get in touch with us as soon as possible”.
