Earlsmead Primary School recently received a ‘Good’ rating in all categories from Ofsted, following the recent inspection carried out in February 2020.
It is the school’s first inspection since becoming part of the Tithe Academy Trust in August 2017.
The new head teacher, Norma Marshall joined the school in April 2018 and under her leadership, the school has undergone significant, positive changes.
The Ofsted report states: “The school is well led and managed. The Headteacher has a clear vision: “Success for All”. This is the principle that shapes her decisions for the school. “Pupils at Earlsmead Primary School are happy and safe”.
Commenting on the results of the report, Head teacher Norma Marshall said: “We could not have been more proud of the pupils and staff for the self-assured manner they showed during the inspection”.
On the Earlsmead website, the school states that they “provide a calm, caring and supportive working atmosphere where high standards of hard work and achievement are set, with respect and politeness for all children and adults. It is a very friendly and inclusive school where we are committed to developing the whole child.”
“Emotional, social development and developing skills for future life is seen as important alongside academic achievement and progress. Children are encouraged to become confident learners, caring and articulate and to become the best that they can be.”
Earlsmead Primary School is fairly new, the school was founded in 2008. According to their website they provide “an attractive, modern setting within spacious grounds”.
