Public response to the COVID-19 crisis and the impact on our staff has been incredible.
Individuals, businesses and organisations throughout Ealing, Harrow and Brent have been amazingly generous with pledges of support for all our staff facing this most unprecedented of challenges.
In order that these offers can be used effectively and help staff in the best way possible, LNWH Charity, the official charity partner for London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, and the LNWH Occupational Health department, have created a COVID-19 Staff Well-being Appeal and are coordinating all donations and gifts.
The Appeal Team will be using any funds raised to provide psychological support, healthy food, care packs and quiet spaces for LNWH NHS staff to relax during their breaks.
Appeal Team Lead Victoria Manning said: ‘We are truly humbled by the outpouring of support for our wonderful NHS staff as they cope with the difficulties of the current situation.
We have a shopping list of items that staff have requested that we can share with you on request.’
LNWH Charity will ensure that all of the donations they receive through the website or JustGiving will be used to support all NHS staff across all hospital and community services.
