Two men seen ‘knocking on doors’ wearing white sterile suits in Harrow

Police in Harrow have advised people to beware of two males that have been seen knocking on doors wearing white sterile suits late at night.

The men were reportedly seen in the West Harrow area and wore similar suits to those worn by NHS staff that are called ‘Hazmat’ suits.

One Harrow Online member said: “Please make people aware, there’s men knocking on doors late at night in West Harrow wearing full white suits Abbas masks, not sure what they are saying to people”.

It follows a warning that was posted online last month after reports emerged of a group of individuals saying they were testing for Coronavirus and going door to door in the Cannons Park area.

The message from Rayners Lane SNT was sent out via the OWL Neighbourhood watch website and said:

“Beware of anyone that comes to your door saying they have or are trying to sell you something related to the Coronavirus.

“We have had reports from residents on West Harrow saying they have seen 2 men knocking on doors late at night dressed in white sterile all in one suits. This is very worrying and it`s making some residents fearful but we have no knowledge of anyone from the NHS calling late at night.”
