Man arrested at Harrow Bus Station for ‘public order offence’

A man was arrested at Harrow Bus Station yesterday (19 May) after he swore at police officers and told them he had coronavirus.

The incident occurred mid-morning and the man was arrested inside the bus station after repeatedly swearing at the officers on duty.

Harrow Police tweeted out about the arrest this morning (May 20) saying: “Harrow Safer Transport Team arrested a man at Harrow Bus Station. He swore at police officers. He was warned about his behaviour but continued and then told officers he had Coronavirus. He was arrested for a public order offence”.

This offence follows another incident that happened a few weeks ago in which a man was arrested for spitting at police in Wealdstone. The man claimed to have coronavirus as he hurled abuse at officers and and racially abused a bus driver.
