McDonald’s in Bushey and Garston have opened for drive-thru.
They are part of a list of over 30 McDonald’s drive-thru restaurants that have now reopened. Cars will be limited to a £25 spend and protective measures have been made by McDonalds to ensure customer safety.
A McDonald’s spokesperson said: “With restaurant teams adjusting to new procedures to enable safe working and social distancing, things may take a little longer – and high demand is anticipated.
“McDonald’s and its franchisees are working closely with local authorities and the police, and may determine that it is necessary to close Drive Thru lanes if queues cause disruption at busier sites or put employees or customers at risk.”
It is believed that more branches could open this week. Other local McDonald’s that are open for delivery include North Watford and Garston for Drive-thru. The closest drive thru to Harrow is the restaurant located on the A41 near Bushey.
The stores are now open from 11am until 10pm. The full list has been revealed today –
