A Labrador puppy who escaped from his home has been picked up and stolen by a man shortly before heading to Queensbury station on Sunday (12 July).
The worried owners of ‘Nuk’ a male Labrador puppy, contacted Harrow Online initially thinking that he had gone missing after running out of an open window, however new CCTV footage shows a man walking off with the puppy under his arm.
The theft occurred on Sunday afternoon outside shops in Queensbury, people have been sharing the post online across social media platforms in an attempt to find the thief.
He is thought to be a local man and various reports of his activities are being fed back to the owner and subsequently the police.
One person said: “I would say there has to be a vehicle involved somewhere looks to me like the owner was known to have the dog to these people. Looks to me stolen to order. Either a vehicle or a bus I’d ask for the police to check there cameras in case for that route”
Another person said: “Guys I feel I can really help with this one! This is literally outside my window! But I can’t even tell his ethnicity from pic. Can anyone get hold of a clearer picture or sharpen it somehow? Would love to catch this monster”
Another Facebook user said: “Pets are your family!!! I can’t believe someone would do this, I have lost my faith in humanity. Please can everyone share this and help get this puppy back home with his owners. This really makes me mad”.
