Man from Harrow on life support after being hit driver under the influence of drugs

A man from Harrow is currently fighting for his life after being hit by a driver under the influence of drugs.

On Sunday 19 July, police were called at 01:20am to Rickmansworth Road near Wynlie Gardens, Pinner to reports of a collision involving a car and a motorcycle.

The young man that was struck by the vehicle was Carsen Rodrigues, a former employee of McDonalds in Harrow. At the young age of 20 Carsen’s life may never be the same, he currently is on a life support machine in hospital and has been given a minimal chance of survival.

The accident has left his family, friends and work colleagues shocked and traumatised by the incident.

Thom Russell, a spokesperson for McDonalds in Harrow said: “Carsen was a warm, kind and loving young man, who was always keen to help others. The Go Fund me page has been set up by friends and family who wish to raise money to allow for potential life changing medical equipment Carsen may need, but also help support the family as they try to survive in these horrendous circumstances.

“All of his family and friends and praying for a miracle.”
