Medics from Northwick Park Hospital were among the participants who raised nearly £8,000 forpatients recovering from Covid-19.

One hundred and twenty seven people took part in the virtual footrace which covered the 1,300km distance between London and Lombardy.

Northwick Park was one of the hardest-hit hospitals in the UK during the first wave while Lombardy was Italy’s worst-hit region with 87,000 cases of Covid-19 and more than 16,000 deaths.
