Four-year-old child suffers ‘potentially life changing’ injuries at Eastcote Lane junction

A four-year-old girl has suffered potentially life changing injuries after a road traffic collision at the Field End junction of Eastcote Lane.

People have been discussing the accident via the the Harrow Online Group today. One person said: “Anyone know why there’s a police roadblock by the Eastcote Arms roundabout?”

The accident also involved a man aged in his 30s who has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening or changing injuries.


A Met Police spokesperson told Harrow Online:
 “Police were called at 12:05hrs on 18 October to Field End, junction with Eastcote Lane, to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and two pedestrians.

“The pedestrians, a man in his 30s and a four-year-old girl, have been taken to hospital.

“The man’s injuries are not life-threatening. The child’s condition is not thought to be life-threatening but may potentially be life-changing.

“The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and has not been arrested.”
