A man and woman were reported to the police for shouting and knocking on doors in Harrow Weald at around 4:30am in the early hours.
The bizarre incident happened yesterday morning (8 November) as residents were woken by the individuals knocking on their doors on College Road in Harrow Weald located just off the high street.
An eye-witness said: “Yes, my aim was to alert others to the possibility of intruders at night. However my neighbour had cctv with sound that drew us to the conclusion that it may have been a domestic incident as there was a woman who was clearly in distress also hiding in bushes and running from house to house, shouting and trying to get help.”
They added: “The incident lasted ten minutes and was accompanied by shouting, calls for the police and banging on doors. At times the woman appeared to be hiding behind bins and in adjacent gardens. Many neighbours witnessed it either seeing them or hearing them or both.
“A third person was seen walking down the middle of the road just after they left the area heading for college hill road. Police didn’t come in time to catch them sadly….”
Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called on 08 November at 04.35 hours to College Road, Harrow weald to reports of a male knocking on doors. Officers attended and no males were located in the area.
