Northwick Park has had some unusual employees over the years from Jeeves the Robot who carried blood samples and notes around the hospital to a Harrier Hawk called Zeus used to scare pigeons.
Jack’s Place, the hospital’s children’s ward, has now employed two rabbits – Flip and Flop – to provide its young patients with some light relief.
Matron Gale Blacklock has been looking after the pair who were donated by a colleague.
