Taco Bell; the world-famous Mexican-inspired restaurant brand will open its first digital-only restaurant next Tuesday, 1st December in Wembley, London.
The launch will be the first digital Taco Bell outside of the US and will mark the brand’s 50th UK restaurant opening.
Customers will be able to order in advance via the Taco Bell app, website or third-party delivery platform or use the digital kiosks in-store to takeaway.
Local Wembley residents are invited to say ‘hola’ to Taco Bell with a free taco offer when customers download the Taco Bell UK app and should look out for Taco Bell bags containing prizes worth up to £50 with Taco Bell’s Facebook Marketplace “Taco-ver”.
Renowned for its craveable, customisable and quick-service Mexican-inspired classics; Taco Bell has been serving tasty tacos, bursting burritos, yummy nachos and its famous quesadillas to hungry UK fans since November 2010. The Wembley restaurant will be the seventh store in London alone with sites already in Hammersmith, Fulham, Wimbledon, Harrow, Bloomsbury and Croydon.
The Wembley site was previously home to Indian restaurant, Dhoom and has now been transformed into a stylish 1,000m space.
Lucy Dee, UK Marketing Lead at Taco Bell said: “We’re delighted to be able to bring Taco Bell to Wembley. London has been crying out for more Taco Bells and we’re very pleased to be able to deliver; creating local jobs despite challenging circumstances. We look forward to feeding residents from Tuesday onwards whether it be via home delivery, click and collect or takeaway”.
Gino Cascani, Regional Director at Taco Bell said: “Wembley marks a significant milestone for us. 50 sites and our first digital restaurant. We’ve seen a huge shift towards online ordering particularly during the pandemic and with Taco Bell Wembley we are hoping to optimise this experience as much as possible”.
