A newsagents on Long Elmes, Harrow Weald located next to a high school was robbed by males in broad daylight.
The incident happened on the same day that police discovered ammunition at a commercial premises on Headstone Lane, just around the corner from this shop that was robbed.
Discussing the robbery on social media, one member of Harrow Online said: “I saw him being arrested by Courtney avenue. Shocking. Hope the shop keepers are both ok.”
Another person said: “I saw two police cars on Long Elmes, lots of police around the surrounding roads including Courtenay Avenue. They were looking for someone apparently”.
Met Police told Harrow Online: “On Monday 23rd November around 14.37hrs officers attended a report of a robbery on Long Elmes, Harrow Weald.
“Three males were detained on Courtenay Avenue in relation to this incident and were arrested on suspicion of robbery. They were taken to a North London Custody.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote 4026/23NOV
