Care home staff in Harrow Weald raise money for children’s cancer fund

Staff/residents at Wilsmere House in Harrow Weald have taken part in a Christmas cards sale and Christmas raffle to raise money for Lennox Children Cancer fund.

Residents, their relatives and staff were all very supportive and where present to cheer on the participants as they began the fundraising challenge.

Alphy George, Activities Co-ordinator at Wilsmere House Care Home, said: Taking part in this challenge has been a huge amount of fun and everyone at the home has been behind us all the way. It’s for such an important cause. I’m very glad to be able to do my bit to raise further awareness and money for the charity.

Success! A fantastic fundraising effort by all.

The General Manager Lili Cocue at Wilsmere house said, the staff did a great job and they will be donating this amount to Lennox Children Cancer Fund on 9th December 2020.  

Wilsmere House raised a grand total of £200 by completing the challenge, which will be donated to Lennox Children Cancer fund.

Wilsmere House provides residential care, nursing care and dementia care for 86 residents from respite care to long term stays.
