With the pandemic impacting so many families in the capital, the Barratt London team has come together to collect food for various foodbanks across London.
Initiated by the team, the development sales suites, including Eastman Village in Harrow, along with the regional offices, have been tasked with collecting dried goods, from tinned beans to chocolate treats and toiletries. These are then being distributed across foodbanks identified ahead of Christmas.
Ed McCoy, Sales Director at Barratt West London comments: “It’s been a difficult year for us all, but some find themselves in need owing to changed circumstances or reduced incomes due to restrictions. At Barratt London, we wanted to do something to show solidarity and support, we know foodbank usage is up and wanted to give something to those struggling this Christmas.”
Together the team collected over 40 boxes to bedistributed to foodbanks across London near live developments.
Eastman Village is a new regeneration project in Harrow which will provide over 2,000 new homes, a school, shops, leisure and community facilities, a new medical centre and commercial space. Prices at Eastman Village currently start from £288,000 for a one-bedroom apartment with two and three-bedroom apartments also available.
