20-year-old man allegedly kidnapped in Harrow Weald

A 20-year-old man was allegedly kidnapped in Toorack Road, Harrow Weald on Tuesday 5 Jan.

Multiple reports came into Harrow Online Group from concerned members of the public after a large police presence and cordon was spotted along Toorack Road, Cypress Road.

One group member posted: “A fair few police cars and roads have been cordoned off at the bottom of Toorack Road and Cecil Road. Any idea what’s going on?”

The man was found by police several hours afterwards with cuts and bruises.

Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police received a report of a kidnap of a 20-year-old man on Toorack Road, Harrow, shortly after 18.00hrs on 5 January.

“The man was found two hours later with a number of cuts and bruises.

“A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap.

Police were seen by members of the public as they dealt with the incident.

“Enquiries continue to establish the circumstances. Anyone with information please contact 101 quoting CAD 5103/05JAN21.”
