Harrow Weald care home celebrates Burns Night with haggis and bagpipes

Wilsmere House care home in Harrow Weald prepared a traditional Burns Night Supper to the tune of bagpipes along with other traditional music and capers that continued well into the wee small hours!

Staff and residents at the home were involved in a number of activities such as  Learning the art of Scottish Country Dancing and the Ceilidh to mark the Scottish institution. This included giving the time-honoured address to the ‘Great chieftain O’ the pudding’ race’ – the Haggis.
