Man fighting for his life after being stabbed in Harrow

Five people have been arrested after a major incident in Harrow Town Centre this afternoon (7 Feb).

Footage sent into Harrow Online shows a number of emergency services present at the scene just outside Tesco on Hindes Road as of 3:50pm today. 

London Ambulance Service and Met Police are on the scene and multiple people have contacted us asking for information as to what’s happened. 

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.25pm today (7 February) to reports of a stabbing in Hindes Road, Harrow.

“We sent an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic practitioner and an incident response officer, and also dispatched medics from London’s Air Ambulance by road. The first of our medics arrived in less than four minutes.

“Our crews have treated a man at the scene for stab wounds and are taking him as a priority to a major trauma centre.”

Met Police have said: “Police were called to Hindes Road, Harrow at 15:19hrs on Sunday, 7 February following reports of a fight.

“Officers attended with London Ambulance Service and found a 20-year-old man who had been stabbed.

“He has been taken to a west London hospital where his injuries have been assessed as life threatening.

“Two males have been arrested on suspicion of GBH and possession of an offensive weapon.

“A further three people – one male and two females – have been arrested for conspiracy to commit GBH.

“Anyone with information about this incident should call 101 with the reference CAD3924/07FEB.”

Harrow MPS Tweeted: “Five people have been arrested after a 20 y/o man was stabbed in Hindes Road earlier. Officers were called to the area at 3.19pm.

“The victim has been taken to hospital where his injuries have been assessed as life threatening. Witnesses are urged to call 101 ref CAD3924/07FEB.”
