New competition launched for child bakers in Harrow to raise money for local charity

Have you got a budding Mary Berry or a child who loves to bake? Then you’ve got your half-term activity sorted.

NoshyCircle opens its competition to search for Harrows best child bakers, for fundraising fun during the February half term

It’s been revealed that 100 children who love to bake will be selected by Harrow based NoshyCircle to take part in a virtual bake sale that will raise money for local Charity ‘Kids Can Achieve’.

The bake-off competition launches its initial phase today with a search for the 100 chosen bakers.

Kids across Harrow who love to bake can do something great during the February half term – they can bake and sell cookies, cupcakes, cakes and more from the comfort and safety of their homes (under parent supervision).

NoshyCircle wants the kids of Harrow to have some fun after weeks of homeschooling and baking is a great way to spend time with Mum or Dad while indoors.

During the lockdown half-term week, the winning 100 kids will bake and sell their goods via the NoshyCircle app – with all the money raised given to the Kids Can Achieve charity to enable them to provide support services for children and young people with learning disabilities, including autism, physical disabilities and complex communication needs.

Key points:

1. Anyone aged 6 – 14 can enter the competition from today

2. 100 children will win the chance to take part in the half-term bake-off

3. Baked goods will be sold via the NoshyCircle app to raise money for local charity Kids Can Achieve

4. Customer orders will be delivered safely and securely to their doors on Friday 19th Feb courtesy of dedicated NoshyCircle drivers

Using the NoshyCircle mobile app, the people of Harrow can buy the delicious delights that the winning 100 kids will be baking throughout the half-term.

All orders will then be delivered to them on Friday night, by a dedicated NoshyCircle Driver – who will deliver the treats safely and securely, abiding by necessary social distancing requirements.

Launched last year, NoshyCircle is a brand new community food platform that offers communities the option to enjoy great home-cooked food!.

In addition, NoshyCircle is a platform offering local cooks and chefs an opportunity to earn while staying safe at home.

Founded by Subha Ganesh, NoshyCircle secured £91k funding via CrowdCube in November 2021 which will support its plan to launch in all major UK cities during 2021.
