Police have launched an investigation after a man was found with fatal stab injuries in Tottenham today (8 March).
The stabbing occurred in broad daylight, two men were stabbed with one pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred not far from White Hart Lane station in North London.
Shortly after the incident people took to social media to comment. One person said: “two people just got stabbed by white hart lane station (sic)”
London & UK Crime tweeted: “Getting Reports of a Stabbing at White Hart lane station 2 Stabbed and 1 dead”
They continued: “One Local said HEMS attended and open heart surgery performed but unfortunately the person died on scene”
Met Police said they were called at 13:54 hrs on Monday, 8 March to Penshurst Road, N17 following reports of a stabbing.
BREAKING: A 19-year-old man has been stabbed to death in broad daylight, while another man, aged 18, is being treated in hospital with stab wounds.

Officers attended along with colleagues from the London Ambulance Service and found three men, including two with stab injuries.
One of the men – believed to be 19-years-old – was pronounced dead at the scene. The second man, who is 18-years-old, was treated for stab wounds and taken to hospital.
His condition is not life threatening. The third person, an 18-year-old man, was treated for minor injuries.
Next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specialist officers.
A post-mortem will be carried out in due course.

Homicide detectives from Specialist Crime have been informed. There have been no arrests.

The teenager fatally stabbed was pronounced dead at the scene.
