A man was found in North Harrow with handsaw tucked into his waistband police have revealed.
Police arrested the man and took him into custody after he was found in Woodlands, North Harrow.
Headstone South Police tweeted on 25 Feb: “At approx 2:30am on WOODLANDS HA2 we arrested an adult male following a stop and search having been found to have the pictured handsaw tucked into his waistband.
“The team are currently liaising with the Crown Prosecution Service to secure a charge.”
They then tweeted an update saying: “the male has been charged with possession of a pointed or bladed article and remanded in custody to be taken straight to court tomorrow”
“To help tackle the overnight theft from cars as well as other Anti Social Behaviour matters we have been working shifts later into the night again with @MPSHeadstoneNth in a combination of uniformed and plain clothed patrols across both wards.”
