Three men have been arrested in Harrow Weald this evening (31 March) after multiple reports came in to Harrow Online of a police helicopter circling the area.
Clewer Crescent and Windsor Road in Harrow Weald were both shut off by police and they searched the area with sniffer dogs.
The incident happened just after 7:15pm this evening.
Members of Harrow Online Crime Watch Group discussed what had happened on Facebook.
One person said: Clewer Crescent and Windsor road have been blocked off by the police had police dogs out no traffic being allowed down these roads
Met Police said: “Police were called to Boxtree Lane in Harrow at 19:22hrs on Wednesday, 31 March following reports of four men acting suspiciously.
“When officers arrived, the men ran from the area.
“Nearby streets were cordoned off and additional resources, including the police helicopter, were called in to search.
“Two men were found and arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary. A third man was arrested on suspicion of fraud.
“All three have been taken into custody at a north west London police station.”
