Emergency services rush to Bushey to deal with reported fire

Emergency services have rushed to Bushey this morning (6 April) after reports of a building on fire. 

Members of the public have been advised to avoid the area if possible and traffic is very slow in the surrounding areas.

Herts Police tweeted: “We are currently at the scene of an incident in #Bushey.
There is a heavy emergency services presence and the road is expected to be closed for a significant amount of time.
Please avoid the area where possible.”

Herts Fire Patrol tweeted: “Please be aware we have a large attendance of fire appliances at Sparrows Herne, Bushey. Please avoid the area.”
