One man dead another fighting for his life after horror collision in Wembley

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a motorcyclist sadly died in a collision in Wembley today (30 May).

The incident happened happened just before lunchtime as police notified the public that road closures were in place following a collision. Another motorcyclist was also injured and is currently fighting for his life in hospital.

Met police said via their website: “Police were called at 11:43hrs on Sunday, 30 May to reports of a collision involving two motorcycles on the A406 Drury Way in Wembley.

“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

“Despite their best efforts, a 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

“The second motorcyclist was taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition. His next of kin has also been informed.

“Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating and would like to hear from anybody who witnessed the collision, or anyone who has dash cam footage.
