A man has suffered a ‘deep laceration’ to his head after being assaulted in Greenford Road near Sudbury Hill Station.
The incident happened yesterday evening shortly before 7pm. Members of Harrow Online said that they “saw a man on the ground when they went for some shopping near the station”.
Met Police told Harrow Online: “On Sunday, 15 August at 18:50hrs, police were called to Greenford Road to reports of an assault.
“Officers and LAS arrived on scene and found an 34-year-old male with a deep laceration to the left side of his head.
“The victim was treated by LAS and taken to hospital where his injuries were declared non-life-threatening.
“Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.47pm yesterday (15 August) to reports of an assault on Greenford Road, Sudbury Hill.
“We sent an ambulance crew, who treated a man at the scene and took him to a hospital.”
