A man was stabbed in Stanmore Broadway during a robbery in the early hours of yesterday morning (16 August).
A police cordon was put in place and covered a parade of shops next to the library and was in place from around 3:00am yesterday morning.
Blood could be seen on the road outside the shops and forensics were spotted at the scene.
One person said: “Something has happened in Stanmore, lots of police and the whole area is taped off.”.
Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at approximately 02:00hrs on Monday, 16 August after an 18-year-old man attended hospital with a stab injury.
“He received treatment; his condition is not life threatening.
“Officers established that the man had received his injuries during a robbery in The Broadway, Stanmore shortly before he attended hospital.
“An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery. He was subsequently bailed until at a date in early September.
“Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
