One-year-old girl falls from flat window in Carpenders Park

A one-year-old girl has been injured after falling from the first floor of a flat in Carpenders Park.

The incident happened on Wednesday 15 September. A person contacted Harrow Online saying: “There’s a lot of police and an Air ambulance near Carpenders Park, is there any way you can find out what’s happened?”

Herts Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called shortly after 10.50am on Wednesday 15 September, following an incident at an address in Carpenders Park.

“It was reported that a one-year-old girl had fallen from the window of a first floor flat and had sustained injuries.

“Officers attended alongside the ambulance service and the child was taken to hospital for assessment.

The child was taken to hospital from Carpenders Park.

“She remains in a stable condition at this time. Her injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening.

“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and there is no further police involvement in the matter.”
