Person rushed to hospital after being injured by a train in Northwood

Emergency services rushed to Northwood Hills Station on Joel Street today, Northwood. 

A person has been injured on the tracks at Northwood Hills Station at around noon today (1 October). The person has been taken to hospital as a priority London Ambulance Service confirmed.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police told Harrow Online: “Officers were called to Northwood Hills station at 12.14pm today (1 October) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

“Paramedics also attended, and a person has been taken to hospital for treatment.

“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 12.13pm today (1 October) to reports of a person injured by a train at Northwood Hills station.

“We sent an ambulance crew, a medic in a car, an incident response officer, a clinical team leader, and hazardous area response teams. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“A man was treated at the scene and taken to a hospital as a priority.”
