Bentley Priory Museum is looking for stories and memories from those who experienced The Blitz between 1940 – 1941 for a new oral history project and upcoming exhibition at the Museum.
Why now? More than ever it is important to document the living memories of those who experience history, not only to preserve it, but to educate new generations to come about what their ancestors, country and world has been through.
If you have stories to share Bentley Priory in Stanmore will welcome you to come to the Museum on the 30th September and 7th October to participate in an Oral History workshop, where you will have the opportunity to talk about your experience of The Blitz while taking in the beautiful surroundings of what was once home to RAF Fighter command.
