A woman has been rushed to hospital after being injured by a train at Headstone Lane Station this morning (19 October).
The incident happened at around 8:00am this morning, London Ambulance Service have confirmed that they treated the woman at the scene.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 8am this morning (19 October) to reports of a person injured by a train at Headstone Lane Station.
“We sent an ambulance crew, a medic in a car, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer, and hazardous area response teams. We also dispatched by road London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a woman at the scene and took her to a hospital.”
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “British Transport Police were called to Headstone Lane railway station at 8.05am this morning (19 October) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

“Paramedics also attended, and a person has been taken to a local hospital.
“This incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters were called to assist police and the London Ambulance Service at an incident at Headstone Railway Station.
“The Brigade was called at 0806 and the incident was over for firefighters at 0841.”
