A man has been taken to hospital with facial injuries following an incident in Harrow Weald in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened along the parade of shops at the bottom of Long Elmes, Harrow Weald near the junction with Headstone Lane.
Forensic police were spotted at Long Elmes this morning examining a vehicle.
Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at around 00:45hrs on Tuesday, 19 October to a report of an assault on Long Elmes, Harrow.
“Officers attended and found a man, aged 48, suffering facial injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
“A search of the area was carried out but no trace of the suspect was found.
“Enquiries are continuing; no arrests have been made.”
