Harrow Council have announced that they will be hosting a webinar about climate change and nature emergencies in Harrow tomorrow (16th November) at 6.30pm.
The webinar will give Harrow residents a chance to find out about how our communities are tackling climate change and what the Council are doing to help.
It will also include ideas for future initiatives and how members of the public can get involved and make a difference.
Speakers at the webinar include:
- Cllr Varsha Parmar, Environment and Climate Change Portfolio Holder
- Matthew Adams, Harrow Council’s Head of Natural Resources and Climate
- Headteacher Matt Bradley and members of the Eco Council: Sustainability at Newton Farm Primary School
- Vicky Duxbury and Oli Black, Thames 21: Transforming Headstone Manor Park, working with the community and climate change adaptation lessons for future projects
- Simon Joshua, Harrow Go Green 2021: Harrow biodiversity and environment
