A large police presence was reported in Harrow and Wealdstone today following a collision involving a car and a bicycle.
An elderly man was injured and taken to hospital following the incident.
As emergency services assessed the man’s injuries, a police cordon was in place in Wealdstone and the roundabout closed off at George Gange Way between Palmerston Road and the Bridge.
Met Police said: “Police were called at 11:08hrs on 14 December to Palmerston Road following reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a bicycle.
“An elderly man was taken to hospital; injuries later assessed as not life-threatening.”
