Boy aged 16 dies after collision with bus in Northolt

A teenage boy has tragically died in Northolt after being involved in a collision with a bus on Friday, 17 December.

The boy was sadly pronounced dead at the scene outside Northolt Station on Mandeville Road at around 7:45pm on Friday.

Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at around 19:45hrs on Friday, 17 December, to reports of a bus in collision with a pedestrian in Mandeville Road, Northolt.

“The male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to establish his identity.

“There has been no arrest. Road closures are in place and drivers are advised to avoid the area.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7:44am on 17 December to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian on Mandeville Road, Northolt.

“We sent two ambulance crews, a team leader, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer.

“Sadly, despite best efforts, a man died at the scene. We treated a second person and took them to hospital.”

Met Police have since issued the following information: “Police were called at 19:45hrs on Friday, 17 December, to a bus in collision with a pedestrian in Mandeville Road, Northolt.

“The male pedestrian – a 16-year-old boy – was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the bus stopped at the scene. There has been no arrest.

“Anyone with dashcam footage and any witnesses who are yet to speak with police are asked to call 020 8246 9820, ref 6587/17dec.
