Footage shows man flipping tables and throwing items in Edgware cafe

Footage posted on social media shows a man going ballistic in a cafe in Edgware, smashing things up and kicking units during daytime hours.

The footage below, which has been viewed over ten thousand times on facebook, shows the man flipping tables over and throwing items in front of shocked members of the public as they were sat eating at the tables.

The incident happened on Saturday, 18 December at Café De La Poste in Station Road, Edgware at around 2pm.

Inside Edgware, who posted the footage via their Facebook page said: “Good morning Folks….Yesterday a man had a disagreement in the post office on Station Road, Edgware and then went on to cause a lot of damage and distress to the cafe who share the same premises with the post office but are nothing to do with them.

“The altercation had nothing to do with the cafe and they have contacted me as they are so upset about what happened and would like to apologise to their customers for the distress caused by this man. If you were in the cafe yesterday please accept their sincere apologies.”

Co-ownerof the Café, Ilirian Blloshmi told Harrow Online: “I’m on holiday at the moment so I wasn’t there when it happened, but what I know is that police been called and they didn’t show up – I hope someone will show up today at least to collect the CCTV”

He added: “That’s upset me even more with all the damage he done no one it’s going after him so far.”

Harrow Online has reached out to North London police for their comments on this.
