A 15-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being found with stab wounds in Edgware.
The incident occurred at around 11:30am this morning (30 Dec) near an alleyway between The Drive and Edgwarebury Lane, which police have cordoned off.
Social media images show emergency services at the scene shortly before lunchtime today.
Met Police said: “Police were called at 11:37hrs on Thursday, 30 December to The Drive, Edgware, after reports of a stabbing.
“Officers attended and found a 15-year-old boy. He was taken to hospital by LAS; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
”A number of crime scenes are in place.
“There have been no arrests at this time and enquiries are ongoing.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.52am on Thursday (30 December) to The Drive, Edgware to reports of a stabbing.
“We sent an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer and we also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to hospital as a priority.”
