Two people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision on The Broadway, Stanmore.
The collision, which involved two vehicles, happened shortly before 1pm this afternoon. Debris can be seen from both vehicles sprawled across the street as members of the public look on.
The accident happened on The Broadway, Stanmore just outside Sainsbury’s.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 12:53pm today (12 January) to reports of a road traffic collision on The Broadway, Stanmore.
“We sent two ambulance crews and an incident response officer to the scene.
“We treated two people and took them to hospital.”
Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at approximately 12:50hrs on Wednesday, 12 January to reports of a collision involving four vehicles in The Broadway, Stanmore.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and two people – no further details – were taken to hospital for treatment; their conditions are not thought to be serious.
“Road closures remain in place while the scene is dealt with.
“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
