First photos of new Sports Direct in Harrow Town Centre

The brand new Sports Direct, that also houses a USC within, has opened in St Anns Shopping Centre in Harrow Town Centre.

The Sports Direct is located at the entrance to the shopping centre on College Road, opposite Lidl supermarket. The store boasts the best in sport from brands including Nike, Adidas, Under Armour and Puma.

The new branch also includes sections dedicated to disciplines such as running, football and outdoor.

When we posted details about the new store to the Harrow Online Group earlier this week, members reacted positively to the news.

One person simply said: “Finally a decent clothes shop, can’t wait till it opens”

Another person commented: “I will be able to go to Harrow and get me football stuff now without having to trek to Watford!! Great news all round”.

Harrow shoppers have been growing more and more curious about the new store since the former branch, located next to HSBC on St Anns Road, announced it was closing its doors and moving to a new venue.

Thankfully, we got the opportunity to have a look round the store today and we can confirm that it’s bigger and better than the previous store.

The new shop features all the top brands you’d come to expect and staff are very friendly and welcoming. This store is bigger than a typical shop in St Anns, but around the average size of a Sports Direct.

No doubt many of the products on sale will be chosen by consumer trends and based on what Sports Direct knows about consumer taste from its other stores across the UK.

The brand new USC, also within the store, offers customers a selection of premium branded denim, urban fashion, accessories, footwear and beauty items. Brands on sale include Champion, Lacoste, Converse and big Levi’s section.

The signing of Sports Direct reinforces the 280,000 sq ft shopping centre’s position as the prime retail destination in Harrow.
