A murder investigation has been launched in Bushey after a man in his 40s has been found dead.
The investigation was launched yesterday (Wednesday 26 January) following the death of a man in Bushey police have said.
A call was made to police at around 10.45pm on Sunday (23 January), after a man was discovered unresponsive inside a flat in High Street.
Officers attended and the man, aged in his 40s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Following a post mortem, it is now being investigated as a murder.
Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins, who is leading the investigation, said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time. Specialist officers continue to provide support and we request that the family’s privacy is respected.
“Our investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances around what happened and we are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.
“Did you see or hear anything suspicious in the area between Saturday night and Sunday evening? Any information at all could greatly assist our enquiries.”
